HOW YOU’LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Delta Air Lines is seeking a creative and driven team-member with a passion for exceptional food and beverage experiences. As Marketing Strategist for Food and Beverage Products within Commercial Marketing, you will develop and execute marketing plans and promotions for Delta’s onboard food and beverage offerings, including chef and restaurant partnerships, beverage collaborations, meal pre-select, and for-purchase options. This role is pivotal in enhancing awareness of Delta’s premium cabins among key audiences and positioning Delta as the leader in premium travel.
As part of the Physical Products Marketing team, you will co-create and activate F&B marketing plans for high-value and emerging high-value customers—from those considering Delta to those with upcoming travel. Your work will drive awareness and excitement around Delta’s premium F&B experiences and partnerships, increasing audience reach and product attachment rates to support premium revenue goals and Onboard Service objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Delta’s best-in-class product strategy while collaborating with teams across Marketing, including Brand, Creative, Social, Member Engagement, Direct Channels, Digital, Onboard Service (OBS), and Customer Experience Design (CXD).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead strategy & execution of integrated F&B marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels (delta.com, Fly Delta app, IFE, email, social, airport/Sky Club).
• Develop creative briefs for media and creative partners that clearly articulate objectives, audiences, KPIs, and deliverables.
• Drive awareness and attachment rates for premium F&B experiences through targeted campaigns and performance optimization.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Brand, Creative Studio, Social, Member Engagement, SO&P, Direct Channels, OBS, CXD, and Digital teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
• Manage partner marketing with chefs, beverage brands, and hospitality collaborators; oversee co‑brand guidelines, approvals, and timelines.
• Coordinate content production (photo/video shoots, recipe features, in‑app and seatback assets) ensuring brand consistency and channel best practices.
• Shepherd initiatives from inception to execution; managing calendar, budgets, and timelines; track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor performance & report impact (reach, engagement, attach rate, revenue contribution, NPS signals) with actionable insights.
• Support product launches and refreshes (menu updates, amenity tie‑ins, Sky Club offerings) with integrated go‑to‑market plans and toolkits.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in Marketing, Communications or Strategy roles. • Strong relationship building, written and verbal communication skills; excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
• Proven project management skills: ability to manage timelines, approvals, and deliver assets on schedule.
• Ability to translate insights and performance data into actionable marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint) a plus.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for creative problem solving and collaboration.
• Travel: Open to travel 1–2 times per quarter for partner meetings, market research, and production support.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
• Experience in Food and/or Beverage industries, hospitality, luxury brands, or airline product marketing.
• Familiarity with paid media and marketing analytics; experience partnering with media teams to set KPIs and optimize performance.
• Experience managing co‑branded partnerships and navigating brand approval processes.
• Hands‑on experience with content production (photo/video shoots) and multi‑channel asset adaptation (IFE, app, email, social).
• Previous experience in regulated environments and partnering with Legal/Compliance to execute marketing to guidelines.
