How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities): 

The Global Marketing Operations team at Delta Air Lines is seeking an Audience  Requirements Specialist who will partner with Delta’s Marketing teams to support the  audience definition and segmentation requirements for multi-channel marketing initiatives.  

Responsibilities:  

• Lead the gathering and definition of audience criteria that inform marketing  segmentation and contact strategy in support of project and revenue goals • Partner with the development team to guide the creation of audiences and manage  target segmentation 

• Work with Marketing stakeholders to map the segmentation to journey paths,  personalization strategies, and next best engagements 

• Work in close partnership with the Analytics Team to ensure final segmentation is  aligned with and supports all testing & measurement plans for each initiative. • Provide regular updates to Marketing stakeholders regarding progress, pertinent  audience definitions, attributes, and other key metrics 

• Recommend the best platforms and activation methods for segmentation in order to  support any desired changes, while also proactively suggesting changes to improve  audience segmentation or performance  

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications): 

• 2+ years of applied experience in a technical role with a strong focus on  requirements gathering, data, and analytics as well as project management • Combination of technical skill sets and business savvy to interface with all levels of  the organization 

• Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks and demands across cross-functional teams • Strong interpersonal communication, decision-making, organizational, planning and  problem-solving skills 

• Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles 

• Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority • High school education or GED equivalent 

• Must be performing satisfactorily in current position 

• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the  COVID-19 vaccine by the date of hire to be considered for US-based job, if not  currently employed by Delta Air Lines 

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):  

• Bachelors or Master’s degree or equivalent experience 

• Demonstrated experience working with data, in particular detailed customer data.  Ideally with experience in audience profiling and segmentation – both in terms of  defining requirements and ensuring what is delivered meets the business need

• Experience in working in Marketing Operations and the airline industry
