Global Communications Salesforce Marketing Cloud Project Manager

Delta’s Global Communications Platforms team is seeking a Project Manager to support the work involving Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and potentially other technology projects.
The SFMC team members on the Platforms Team manage the following:
- Make life easier for the Global Communications team members by simplifying templates, producing easy-to-use features, troubleshooting self-serve challenges and process documentation.
- Enhance capabilities within SFMC that ladder up to team priorities.
- Business as usual work to keep the platform, templates, distribution lists stable.
The Platforms team owns the operations for several other channels like our external website for reporters, Delta News Hub, our intranet Deltanet, and Workfront Fusion.
The SFMC Project Manager will be charged with maintaining the team’s organization in an Agile environment, ensuring projects, assignments and tasks are captured and executed on time and specification at the priority levels dictated by a manager and Global Communications team members.
Further, the SFMC Project Manager will likely work closely with other Project Managers, including those in Delta’s Marketing and IT department and with vendors.
The SFMC Project Manager will report to the Senior Manager – Platforms, Global Communications.
Responsibilities
- Proactively contribute to the SFMC team by taking an active role in assignment and task completion within Workfront
- Utilize Workfront to manage and track resource assignments and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration:
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure Agile practices are followed.
- Support team members in resolving any blockers or challenges they face.
- Create partnership with SFMC team members that allows for constant communication on task progress to ensure deadlines are hit.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate project expectations, progress, and any issues to stakeholders regularly.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain meeting minutes, call recaps, post-mortem evaluations, and project documentation.
- Track and report on the Global Communications SFMC teams projects, initiatives and day-to-day work to provide visibility and awareness to leaders, contributors and partners.
- Offer insights and provide recommendations on Workfront implementation and set up.
What you need to succeed
- Previous successful project management experience.
- Proficiency managing projects using Adobe Workfront.
- Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and Agility tool.
- Scrum master certified.
- Be a structured and organized person with attention to detail who can prioritize as requests are received.
- Understanding of the digital landscape and trends.
- Be able to navigate a highly matrixed, complex organization, develop strong peer relationships and challenge the status quo while driving alignment.
- Be highly responsible, team-oriented, collaborative.
- Bring creativity, innovation, industry knowledge and team priorities to every assignment and be able to identify opportunities to use data to improve our work.
- Ability to readily adjust to changing workload and priorities.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient user of Microsoft productivity applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Experience working with Corporate and/or Employee Communications teams.
- Experience with other Communications platforms like SharePoint Modern.
- Experience in implementing Adobe Workfront for Communications teams.
- Experience with Adobe Fusion.
- Campaign delivery vs Salesforce channel expertise.
- Scrum Master certification.
- Experience with agile methodology.
