Communications Coordinator

Delta is looking for an outstanding communicator with stellar writing, editing and strategic thinking skills to join the Corporate Communications Editorial Strategy team. We're looking for a self-starter with expertise in creating and shaping messaging that informs and persuades internal and external audiences, including Delta employees, top-tier media outlets and customer audiences.
The person in this position will collaborate with colleagues and business unit partners to help portray Delta as the industry’s best airline, a trusted consumer brand and a responsible corporate citizen, all while boasting an enviable employee-centric culture.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Content – Global Communications and supports overall communication strategy, employee engagement, partner relationships and corporate announcements.
Strong writing and editing skills are essential. Strong judgment and creativity in curating strategic communications plans, as well as creative web publishing are important skills. This person will help to both manage key owned channels and lead communications plans.
Candidates also must demonstrate skill in working on multiple digital platforms with varied means of storytelling, including video, podcasts, infographics and more.
In addition, the successful candidate will possess a high degree of initiative and superior organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
This employee must be an internal and external communications professional responsible for developing and maintaining constructive relationships with senior level divisional stakeholders, frontline employees and leaders, key media organizations and external influencers. Strong team players only!
