Description

Delta Air Lines is seeking a seasoned, intellectually curious, data-driven, and self-starting team member to help shape our social analytics and marketing intelligence capabilities. The Social Intelligence Senior Specialist will support the Marketing Insights and Analytics Team and play a critical role in servicing social intelligence and reporting needs to stakeholders across the enterprise. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical acumen, as well as a deep-rooted passion for keeping up with the social landscape and cultural zeitgeist. The Senior Specialist will work closely with our analytics team to provide data-backed insights, drive a deeper understanding of Delta's customers, and deliver actionable trends for stakeholders impacting marketing strategies and capabilities across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze conversations across social and digital platforms, craft stories with data and produce actionable insights relevant to Delta and the broader travel landscape.

• Leverage third-party tools for social listening and to compile audience, content, brand, and industry trend analyses.

• Work closely with the Marketing Insights and Analytics team on measurement plans and campaign reporting, as well as gathering insights for brief development.

• Create customized data visualizations and dashboards to inform on real-time opportunities,

trending conversations, as well as issues or threats.

• Continuously evaluate emerging social platforms, as well as current and new consumer intelligence platforms to identify data gaps and areas of opportunity.

• Partner and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities and build

programs to enhance marketing performance and the overall customer experience.

• Support wider data democratization and social intelligence efforts across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting social media or analytics on behalf of a fortune 500 consumer

brand or agency partner.

• An analytically curious mind with enthusiasm about story telling with data, with the ability to uncover insights and communicate them in a clear, concise manner

• Strong strategic understanding of social listening and data analysis from a business perspective

and experience both sourcing and analyzing data from listening tools (Netbase Quid preferred).

• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Proven project management and organizational skills, with ability to identify and implement ideas in fast-paced environments.

• Ability to move seamlessly between big strategic thinking and tactical execution and juggle challenging priorities Diplomacy, positivity, keen problem-solving, critical thinking, and the ability to receive and deliver constructive criticism Strategic, solutions-oriented approach and ease working collaboratively across teams

• Strong team orientation and relationship-building skills; predisposition to seek and integrate diverse viewpoints

• Ability to work in office at G.O. a minimum of 1-2 days per week
