Seeking film publicist with strong ties to Variety, THR, Deadline & podcasts for release campaign, wide reach a must.

I'm a filmmaker seeking publicity on myself to raise awareness as a filmmaker and my new film, Friendly Distractions, featuring reality TV personality Ramona Singer from The Real Housewives of New York. She has a large social media following and there is a great story behind how the film was made and how I cast Ramona through a chance encounter on a shared flight. I'd like to also share how I made this film as a solo filmmaker - self funded, produced, wrote screenplay, served as Cinematographer, Editor, Casting Director and self-distributor. Lot's of commentary on how I've decided to no longer wait to be chosen by the Film Industry and like many new emerging filmmakers like me are leveling the playing field among the big studios and the old Hollywood model.

A couple of years ago, while the film was still in production, Ramona Singer drew a lot of earned media attention/press when a Twitter/X influencer found a scene clip online from the film. Ramona was interviewed by Page Six about a month ago but that has not yet been released.

I would love to replicate this by pitching to online media outlets, podcasters, bloggers, Local and national TV and build a strategy to get the widest reach in the entertainment industry and press.
