Description of the role
We're not just looking for someone to join our team; we're looking for someone to join our cause. We're looking to hire someone with the potential to be the best Publicist in the world. This role is for a highly motivated and proactive self-starter with 5 years PR experience, preferably across immersive experiences, and attractions. We’re looking for an all-star with hustle and heart who is obsessed with media relations.
The role will include working closely with the senior management team, other account team members, as well as clients on specific day-to-day deliverables to implement PR campaigns. You will be responsible for developing stand-out content and story ideas that capture media attention. Creative thinking, organization, a great personality, and strong writing skills are a must!
List of Responsibilities:
Your role would include, but not be limited to the following:
- Consumer Brands and Immersive Experiences PR – Support in planning and implementing dynamic PR strategies and campaigns across the consumer and immersive industries in North America, and attractions space from start to finish, adjusting along the way to ensure deliverables are hit and exceeded
- Publicity & Media Relations – Generate positive news coverage across the broad media spectrum through solid press relations. Media verticals include fashion, beauty, food, travel and tourism, and immersive experiences - including regional and national titles in the US.
- Strategic Planning – Support in the development and execution of strategies that align with the client objectives and provide solutions
- Results – Facilitation of weekly status reports and wrap reports for clients
- Time Management - You are a trained pro and know how to self manage to make things happen ahead of schedule.
- Creativity – Utilize knowledge of the media to recognize media angles and pitch media outlets successfully, while crafting engaging copy
- Excellent Command of English + Writing Skills – Draft pitches and other written press materials, including press kits, client bio’s, and speaking points
- Exceptional Service – Creating moments of “Wow” experiences for the client. You make them question how they ever lived without you in their life!
- Support on Client Communications – Day-to-day client support
- Events – Strategically plan client’s event with ROI goals in mind, including coordinate and execute press trips, press exclusive experiences, FAM trips, red carpets, event/location launches, and in-person client x media interviews. Attend and support on-site events as needed
