Lex is the app for finding LGBTQ friends & queer community. Lex is looking for a PR expert to assist in getting Lex in front of our queer community and top of mind for tech investors.

How we describe Lex to our users:

Explore what’s happening with your local LGBTQ+ community— join a trivia group, attend a t4t tea party, or meet up with a new friend for a skate sesh. There’s a thriving queer community all around you, and now you know where to find it.

Where we’ve been:

  • We launched our MVP in Nov. 2019 into the world as a text-based dating app for queer people, we had traction right out the gate - from there we raised capital from investors and hired queer talent.
  • Lex has been covered by many press outlets in the past (all inbound) NYT, New York Mag, Techcrunch, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Dazed, Vice, Buzzfeed, etc. We want to make sure the story continues, the press has been documenting the process of building Lex since 2018.

We're looking for someone who is connected to:

  • LGBTQ & Consumer - Amplify the Lex brand and what's happening on the app through queer media & mainstream outlets. Position Lex as the best app to find LGBTQ friends. Craft and promote the endless stories we have about our users, company, origins, founder-stories. Must be Extremely connected to the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Investor Tech - Get us covered in the press our investors read with stories of our innovations and LGBT market potential.
  • Thought leadership - Get speaking & visibility opportunities for founders/team (podcasts, panels, etc).
