About the Role
ServiceNow’s Brand Social team is looking for a Project Manager to serve as the operational backbone of the brand social team. In this role, you’ll build and run the systems that allow our social media managers, creatives, and community managers to focus on what they do best: creating high-quality, platform-native content that earns attention.
You'll partner closely with the Social Director and serve as the operational engine behind everything the team produces — from end-to-end social content programs (always-on content, video series, influencer programs, platform launches) to cross-functional initiatives where social plays a key role, including brand campaigns and customer marketing. This is a high-visibility role in a team that moves fast, thinks strategically, and holds a high creative bar.
What You’ll Do
• Own end-to-end project management for social content campaigns, editorial calendars, and platform launches — ensuring on-time, on-brief delivery across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels.
• Build and maintain streamlined workflows that protect the creative team’s time and capacity, reducing friction across intake, approvals, and production.
• Partner with cross-functional teams — including brand campaigns and customer marketing — in planning and executing programs where social plays a role, bringing clarity on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage agency relationships and production timelines, holding external partners accountable to deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
• Track and report on project status, blockers, and capacity across a team of social media managers, copywriters, and community managers.
• Support the Social Director in preparing presentations, strategy documents, and executive briefings for senior leadership.
• Manage intake and triage of social content requests, establishing clear scope, timelines, and ownership.
• Identify process gaps and build scalable solutions — from intake systems to content approval workflows to post-mortem frameworks.
• Coordinate event-based content pushes and program activations (e.g., major conferences, product launches).
What We’re Looking For
• 8+ years of project management experience, with direct experience managing social media content production — this is a must.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and fast-moving timelines.
• Deep understanding of social media content production processes, from creative brief to publishing — and what makes each stage break down.
• Experience working with and managing external creative agencies; you know how to get the best work out of partners.
• Strong communicator who can translate ambiguous requests into clear briefs and hold teams accountable without micromanaging.
• Data-oriented mindset — you track project health metrics and use them to improve process, not just report status.
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with multiple workstreams running simultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social), project management tools and content management workflows.
• A genuine interest in social media, brand storytelling, and the intersection of creativity and operational excellence.
