Yahoo is ramping up several high-volume marketing campaigns launching in January and is seeking freelance Production Designers to support the creation of digital assets across Yahoo platforms, including performance marketing campaigns and event-related initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working within established design systems.

You’ll partner with internal marketing, design, and events teams to produce a large volume of digital assets ranging from display banners and email assets to event-related digital deliverables such as invitations, registration graphics, on-site screens etc, iterating from existing templates, toolkits, and past campaign examples. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, and comfortable managing repetitive production work with accuracy and speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high volumes of digital assets using existing templates, brand guidelines, and/or toolkits across performance marketing and events
  • Execute rapid iterations based on feedback and prior campaign or event examples
  • Support event production design by adapting approved visual systems into digital event assets (e.g., invites, agendas, menus, screens, and other supporting materials)
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across multiple asset sizes, versions, and formats
  • Manage shifting priorities and handle quick-turn or same-day requests
  • Proactively support and improve production workflows, including file organization, templates, and versioning, to help streamline asset creation

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in production design for digital marketing, advertising campaigns, and/or event-related assets
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate work under tight timelines
  • Comfortable working within established brand systems, design toolkits, and visual guidelines
  • Organized, process-minded, and able to follow direction with minimal oversight
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Google Suite
  • Experience using AI tools and Figma Make a plus
  • Familiarity with print prep for event materials such as menus, signage, and banners is a plus
