Position Summary
The Graphic Designer will play a critical role in supporting Business Development and Partners on Technology Litigation pitches and client presentations. This individual must possess a strong eye for brand and design, advanced software knowledge, and the ability to see projects through from concept to post-production/go live. The role requires a designer who can confidently advocate for the White & Case brand, present and defend design solutions to senior partners, and establish trusted relationships with stakeholders at the highest levels.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative ideas, and a proven track record of influencing senior decision-makers. Familiarity with storytelling and design thinking is essential, as is the ability to translate complex legal and technical content into compelling visual narratives.
Responsibilities
- Information Design Expertise: Transform complex, text-driven legal and technical documents into visually compelling, data-rich presentations and materials. Apply advanced information design and storytelling techniques to distill dense content into clear, engaging visual narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders and support strategic business objectives.
- Partner Support: Collaborate directly with Business Development and Partners to design and deliver high-impact Technology Litigation pitches and client presentations, ensuring all materials are on- brand and strategically aligned with client objectives.
- Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand guardian, upholding and evolving visual brand and style guidelines. Confidently present and defend design solutions to senior stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Partners and senior leaders, understanding their preferences and business goals to deliver tailored design solutions.
- Strategic Communication: Articulate design concepts and rationale to non-design audiences, effectively "selling" ideas and addressing feedback constructively.
- Project Leadership: Act as primary client contact for assigned projects, managing the full lifecycle from briefing to delivery, utilizing digital project management systems.
- Versatility: Design for a range of marketing channels (print, digital, web, video) and adapt style from sophisticated editorial layouts to cutting-edge visual storytelling.
- Production Excellence: Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current on emerging technologies, design trends and best practices relevant to legal and technology sectors.
Education/Qualifications
- 5–10 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate or agencyenvironment.
- Experience supporting senior executives or partners, ideally within legal, financial or technology sectors.
- Expert knowledge of Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, After Effects, Premier, In5 and HTML is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end print and digital design skills, with examples of work for pitches, presentations and complex data visualization.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service attitude and professional demeanor.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-starter who works independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with rigorous quality control standards.
