At SourceCode, we’re focused on bringing brains and hustle, humanity and technology, creativity and business intelligence back to public relations and marketing.

As we continue to add new, specific and focused practice areas to our existing range of industry expertise, as well as double down on our mission to work with brands that are doing their part in improving the world around us, Climate Tech is a perfect next sector for us to set our sights on. We are looking for a seasoned communications professional to serve as the face of this new practice area and work with SourceCode’s senior leadership to drive its growth. With this practice in its pre-launch phase, this role is an ideal opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and deep connections and expertise in the Climate Tech space to get in at the ground floor of a high-growth potential business unit within a successful, established agency.

  • Manage new business efforts for the practice – leveraging YOUR network to source leads, developing proposals, leading pitches, managing inbounds, and developing proactive outbound strategy
  • Work with SourceCode’s marketing team to build awareness of this new practice area and demonstrate our knowledge and expertise in the space to drive new client wins
  • Understand agency financial policies and procedures, and manage agency resource and utilization
  • From a client standpoint, you will:
  • Serve as a senior client advisor, providing strategic guidance, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of their business and their value proposition within the climate tech industry
  • Build rapport and trust with client contacts and assuming the lead client contact role for all strategic and tactical matters
  • Align with the team to ensure KPIs and other performance benchmarks for client goals are met each quarter; work with teams to ensure campaigns and projects are delivered to scope, budget and team resourcing goals
  • Work with client service team to build media engagement strategies, including the development of timely pitches and/or content, as well as crafting and implementing quarterly and bi-annual plans

What You Have:

  • A track record of winning new business and growing a business portfolio, particularly in the climate tech sector
  • Ambition and drive, you enjoy working through complex challenges and problem solving
  • Experience in managing client campaigns, project managing tasks, workloads and KPIs both for client and commercial success
  • The ability to prioritize weekly and quarterly goals that impact client and team demands
