Location: Remote + On-site in Las Vegas during CES 2026

Budget: Competitive, commensurate with senior experience (flat project fee or monthly retainer negotiable)

About Us

We are a small consumer technology company preparing to debut our flagship product at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Our product ecosystem includes proprietary, patented software and hardware. We’re creating a bold, differentiated presence in the Central Hall with a 40x40 island booth and immersive demo experience.

Our objective: Secure meaningful, high-quality media coverage at launch that establishes credibility, communicates our category-defining innovation, and sets the tone for post-show momentum.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Media Relations Lead — ideally a former agency or in-house PR manager who has managed product launches at CES, IFA, MWC, or SXSW. This role will be central in crafting our media strategy, building relationships with press, and ensuring flawless execution of all media touchpoints before, during, and after CES.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning
  • Develop CES-specific media strategy and outreach plan.
  • Advise on press kit, media advisory, and embargo protocols.
  • Media Outreach & Coordination
  • Build and refine target media list across tech, business, and consumer outlets.
  • Conduct outreach, schedule booth briefings, and manage embargoed coverage.
  • On-Site Support (Las Vegas, January 2026)
  • Manage press tours, booth walk-throughs, and executive interviews.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for journalists on-site.
  • Post-Show Follow-up
  • Ensure post-CES media coverage lands.
  • Provide coverage recap/report.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading CES or other Tier-1 tech trade show media campaigns.
  • Existing relationships with key tech media, reviewers, and analysts.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment.
  • Available to be on-site in Las Vegas during CES (Jan 6–9, 2025).

Engagement Structure

  • Flexible: could be 3-month retainer, flat project fee, or milestone-based.
  • Remote collaboration with on-site requirement in Las Vegas during CES.
  • Start: November 2025 (press strategy + outreach ramp-up).
  • End: Late January 2026 (coverage recap delivered).
